Industry recognition of Numacs Safety, Quality and Environment Management Systems

Numac are very proud to announce that we have received 3rd party accreditation from Best Practice Certification for our Safety (AS/NZS 4801), Quality (ISO 9001) and Environmental (ISO14001) Management systems.

For a small environmental and geotechnical drilling company to undergo such a thorough audit process has been no small task, and to the best of our knowledge we are unaware of any comparable sized drilling contractors in Australia that hold the same certifications.

In today’s digital environment, many drilling companies make highfalutin claims in print and online about their rigorous  management processes and commitment to environmental sustainability. Unfortunately, in many cases it is not until a serious incident has occurred and the systems are put under that microscope, that the deficiencies become clear. 

Many industry players are either unaware, or choose to ignore obvious plagiarism of safety and quality documentation. These documents may make it through a subcontractor evaluation process, but they are not achieving effective mitigation of risk and are essentially worthless for mitigating commercial or safety (missing word) of all parties on site.

We are confident that by embracing the development of high level systems, we will continue to improve the quality of the drilling services and remediation services that we put into the field. 

There will always be further improvement to pursue. This achievement is, however, is a big step in showing our commitment to the standards that all of our clients expect in their drilling contractor.

The certification extends to our Australian offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. The certification does not extend to our Singapore office at this time.
